Have You Ever Noticed That Almost All Movies Coming Out Are Remakes Or Sequels?
Hello everyone and welcome to my third blog!!! Thank you to everyone who has been reading my blogs and supporting me! Today's blog will be a bit different than my other two. I am starting a new "category" called "Have You Ever Noticed" So I hope you enjoy it!
Have you ever noticed that almost all movies coming out are remakes or sequels? Let me give you some examples: ALMOST EVERY MOVIE COMING OUT THESE DAYS. ( The Little Mermaid, Haunted Mansion, Barbie, TMNT Mutant Mayhem, Etc... ) I'm not saying these movies are BAD, I'm just saying: people are running out of ideas. BADLY. They're just not even thinking about original ideas. Instead, they just jump to the thought of a sequel or a remake. Here's how their meetings go:

Disney Manager: "Alright guys. We need a new movie idea... got any?"
Disney Worker: "O-O-O-O! ME! ME! ME! How about... TOY STORY 5."
Disney Manager: "BOOM. Meeting Adjourned."

The thing I have noticed about the remakes is that they are all WAYYYYYYY longer than its original. Like the original Little Mermaid is 1 hr 26 mins or something, and the new one, is 2 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES. And the original Aladdin is 1 hr 20 and the newer one is like 2 hours 20 as well. You get the point. There's also another thing that's a bit different but... have you ever noticed that almost all video games are being remade into movies? ( Sonic, Mario, Pokemon, Etc... ) And BOOKS. ( A lot. ) I will discuss this in later blogs. Anyways, back to the Aladdin thing. This is how Disney remakes are different from their originals: One, the length of it. Two, they HAD to add new stuff like songs and whatever. But still, where's the creativity?
( Even if it's an original idea, if it's Disney, it will probably be bad anyways 😂 )
