Catching Up On TRON: Ares

Before I started watching the TRON series, I always felt like it was one of those franchises that had like 20 movies in it... but believe it or not, there are only 3, including Ares, which literally just came out like 2 seconds ago.

The reason I bring this up is because I just recently watched both of the older TRON films for the very first time (CLICK HERE) and I'm still contemplating whether or not I should go see Ares in theaters, and if so, when...

So, in today's blog, I will be catching up on a lot of the Ares promos and copying down all my thoughts on each of them along the way, because I might as well get used to the look of the new film since I haven't really spent a lot of time on it yet, right? 🤣

• I don't get all the different colored suits in this franchise; in the original it was blue in red, in Legacy it was teal and orange, and in this one it's teal and red... huh?
  Also, who are the good guys? Is Ares supposed to be bad since his suit is red? I don't get it 🤣
• Oh, Flynn's back for the 70th time 🤣
  At least he's not CGI'd ig 👇😆

Wait how will he even connect into this movie at all 🤣

• What even is this bruv 👇🤣

• Oh, good; an AI driving a tiny car; this will end well 👇😆 (Very sigma promo vid tho)

• Oh I loved the actor on the right in Yes Day he was awesome 👇🤣 (I hope he plays a funny character in this one 😁)

Also, do you see that sign in the back? Flynn's??? 👀😆

• Oh, hey guys, look! Flynn's gonna die again in this one! 👇🤣

• "TRON: Ares... rated PG-13... get tickets now... only in theaters October 10th... filmed for IMAX..."
  Dang, bro 😆

  The Wild Robot? 🤣
• Yo, I swear... how many Dillinger's ARE there?!? 👇😆

  *Vine boom* 🤣

• Yo what was that opening 🙏😭 (WHAT IS MRBEAST DOING HERE BRO ACTUALLY 🤣 Is he going to be in the movie? Cuz... I'm already out the door if that's happening 😆)

• GASP
  THE DUCATI 👇🤣 (SAM CAMEO?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!? 😆)

• The Spider-Verse logo glitch 🙏🙏🙏

• "We came here from the digital world for one reason... WAR..."
  What I thought they came here cuz they were looking for something the humans "discovered", bro what is wrong with this plot line 🤣 (But fr this plot be like 🫨🫨🫨 Here's what I mean: Ares, old grid, newer grid, real world, ENCOM, Dillianger Systems, Flynn, MRBEAST?!? 😆 At this point, I'm not even sure Tron himself will be in this movie 🤣)
• "This is the end for you..."
  "No... it's not..."
  Well said, boss 😆

• "Years ago..."

• "Generations ago..." 🤣🤣🤣
• "On cycles made of light..."
  So... lightcycles ☝🤓🤣
• Yo nah why would they bring this atrocious sight back 👇🤣

  Oh, good
  Everyone cares what you think, Jared 😆

• "And you get Industrial Light & Magic to do their magic..." 💀🤣

• "And it's the number one movie in the world..."
  Oh, wow! That's so cool! So was every other Disney movie that came out this year opening weekend!!! 🤣
• "With a staggeringly brilliant score by Nine Inch Nails..."
  Why do I feel like NIN was the only thing critics liked about this movie 😆

It could be risky seeing on the big screen, but just know...

I'm thinking about it. 😉
