Star Wars hasn't made a movie in 7 years.

They've invested so much in Disney+ that no one seems even a tad bit interested anymore. So, in today's blog, I will be re-watching and ranking every Mandalorian episode in preparation for The Mandalorian And Grogu, coming soon to theaters May 2026. (PLEASE NOTE: The first 5 episodes of season 1 are not included because I re-watched them a while back, before I had the idea to rank every single episode 🤣)

Season 1- Episode 6
Ch. 6: The Prisoner

This episode is just the 🐐. Don't ask me why.

Season 1- Episode 7
Ch. 7: The Reckoning

Amazing second-to-last episode, RIP "I have spoken". 🤣

Season 1- Episode 8
Ch. 8: Redemption

The only episode in seasons 1 and 2 that doesn't contain the word "the" in the title. 🤣

But anyways, this episode was surprisingly funny; (Probably bc Taika Waititi directs it, but I have no idea how that works lol 😁😆) the opening scene with the 2 troopers was the absolute best and IG's also pretty humorous at times.

ABSOLUTELY 🔥 finale.

Season 2- Episode 1
Ch. 9: The Marshal

Cobb Vanth is a 🔥 character.

Season 2- Episode 2
Ch. 10: The Passenger

The frog lady thing was weird enough, then they added in all those creepy snow spider things into the mix....................................... yeah, this episode is garbage.

Season 2- Episode 3
Ch. 11: The Heiress

Seemed very unnecessary to me. (All of S2 be like tho fr: "I'll help you... IF-" 🤣🤣🤣)

Also, Bo-Katan is such a 🗑 character. 😆

Season 2- Episode 4
Ch. 12: The Siege

I liked all the returning characters. That was 🔥.

Season 2- Episode 5
Ch. 13: The Jedi

Ahsoka's honestly just annoying sometimes. 🤣

Also, I don't like how they shaped Grogu's character in this one; he goes from being this frog-eating, cute little baby, to secretly being some Jedi master with a bunch of built up emotions... or something... 😆

Season 2- Episode 6
Ch. 14: The Tragedy

I like this episode bc it re-introduces Boba and Fennec, but I could have done without that whole mountain-top Jedi thing. (Oh, and the Razor Crest blowing up was pretty cool too hehe)

Season 2- Episode 7
Ch. 15- The Believer

This is one of the greatest TV show scenes of all time, you will never be able to change my mind bahahahahahahahahhahahahahahah-

Season 2- Episode 8
Ch. 16: The Rescue

Compared to season 1's finale, I was sightly disappointed by this one. 🤷

Season 3- Episode 1
Ch. 17: The Apostate

Kind of a messy first episode; where did all those Mandalorian at the beginning come from? Why did Mando say he was going to find a droid part then went to see Bo-Katan at a "Mandalorian castle"? 🤣

Season 3- Episode 2
Ch. 18: The Mines Of Mandalore

Better than the first episode, but still pretty mid. Like I said, Bo-Katan is kinda a 🗑 character.

Also, let's be honest, does ANYONE understand this whole Mandalore, "Child Of The Watch", "Songs Of Eons Past", Mythosaur, Creed stuf? 🤣🤣🤣

Season 3- Episode 3
Ch. 19: The Convert

Someone needs to check on whoever thought this Dr. Pershing story line was a good idea. How does it even go along with the series??? (I couldn't follow any of that "cloning" stuf tho lol 🤣)

Anyways, this is the longest episode in the entire freaking show... and it was one of the worst. So upsetting and disappointing. There is SERIOUSLY 0 point in watching this one, skip it. 😆

Season 3- Episode 4
Ch. 20: The Foundling

By now, just what are we doing. 🤣

There isn't even a plot in the show anymore; Mando was already "redeemed". 😆😆😆

Season 3- Episode 5
Ch. 21: The Pirate

I still think that Star Wars is dragging this season out real far, but I thought that this episode was quite entertaining... at times. 🤣

Season 3- Episode 6
Ch. 22: Guns For Hire

I wanted to give up and stop watching after the very first scene, but I'm glad I stuck with it. This season might be getting back on track, I don't know... 🤫🤣 (It's all bc of Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd 😆 jkjkjkjk)

Season 3- Episode 7
Ch. 23: The Spies

I don't think this season is getting back on track anymore. 🤣

I controlled my anger for a while, but now I'm just gonna let it out... I am getting SO sick of Bo-Katan and how she is becoming an even bigger character than the Mandalorian himself. I didn't like Bo from the beginning, and now she's literally at the center of everything.

I really wish it wasn't ending this way, but... it seems like that might be how it's gonna happen. 😞

Season 3- Episode 8
Ch. 24: The Return

Such a boring finale because Star Wars completely strayed away from the original point of the Mandalorian; he started off as an insane Winter Soldier-like bounty hunter, then ends as a dumb background character with no purpose.

I'll still probably watch the Mandalorian And Grogu, whether it be at home or in theaters, I just don't think my exceptions will be too high now.

I am very disappointed.

Also, here are my notes on The Book Of Boba Fett, since the Mandalorian is featured in it. 👇😁

The entire Boba Fett backstory was so stupid, so boring, so unnecessary, and nothing about it was cool to watch; if they really thought the story was worth telling, they should have made the backstory it's own, singular episode (How Fennec got to be with Boba was the only part of the backstory side-plot I thought was semi-necessary and enjoyable) You know, I wish Star Wars would just realize that it get to a point; by the end of the 4th episode, I just wanted them to rename the series "The Book Of Tusken Raiders"; stick to one storyline, and follow that
Guys did you realize that both Moff Gideon and Cad Bane came in at the last second of each The Mandalorian S1 and BOBF S1, acting like they were there the entire time and like they were the main characters 🤣
I didn't understand ANY of that "spice trade" stuf 😆
I swear I never would have re-watched this series if the Mando wasn't in it 😆
Why did the Armorer even ask Paz Vizsla and Mando if they've ever taken off their helmets right in that totally random moment 🤣
Why did Cad shoot Cobb once and the other guy 5 times 😆
The finale starts off fine, but then it all just starts to go downhill in a bunch of different ways after a while, iykwim (The big sentry droid things, the rancor, Cad Bane's really sudden death, just a lot of that; and also, what's to stop the Pyke's from continuing to harass Tattoine? Season 2??? 🤣 jkjkjk I probably wouldn't even watch a season 2 tbh 😆)
Whatever happened to the twins? How did they even fit into this story at all, bruv tho fr 🤣
Why was the rancor introduced in episode 3 and then never came out until the finale 😆
Cad's kinda terrifying looking tbh 🤣🤣🤣
They built up that rando "sanctuary" place so much just to have everything and everyone in it blown up in the end like... huh? 😆
Yo fr tho why was Ahsoka there and what in the world was her role in this series 🤣

Now... before ranking The Mandalorian, I would like to note some things that I believe could save and ruin the upcoming Mandalorian And Grogu film; keep in mind that "✅" means "save", and "🚫" means "ruin"...

✅ Boba Fett & Fennec Shand/other Boba Fett characters cameo (Just cameo; not return cuz I can't deal with the fact that a Book Of Boba Fett season 2 might still happen 🤣 But also, let's not forget: "Where The Book of Boba Fett Season 2? I know they're doing Ahsoka Season 2; I'm going, 'Ah, where's my Season 2?'" - Temuera Morrison 😆😆😆)
✅ Cobb Vanth cameo/return since they hyped up his return in the post-credits scene of the Boba Fett finale 👀🤣
✅ Cara Dune cameo/return even tho that probably won't happen bc of the controversies or whatever 🤣
✅ Migs Mayfeld/rest of crew cameo/return
✅ Army of Babu Frik's 😆
✅ Full Grogu backstory
✅ Less focused on the "Mandalore" storyline and more S1 vibes
