Last Breath Movie Review
This film really felt like one of those movies where you see the trailer for and go "hUh. tHaT loOks cOOl." and then never actually watch it... but I'm glad I got the opportunity to. I definitely wouldn't have liked it as much ( Or at all ) if PADI Scuba Instructor @rbrasington wasn't there to tell me LITERALLY everything I needed to know about what they were doing. He even repeated back to me quotes from the movie that I didn't hear because I'm going deaf and actually might need to get my ears checked. What a guy.
*Crickets Crickets*
I'm gonna start the blog now.
Welcome to the Last Breath movie review.
- Besides the fact that a guy went 29 minutes without oxygen in a pitch black ocean with his boat not knowing where he was, nor if he was still alive or not, this movie was definitely not as intense as I thought it would be! 😁 ( "Twisters" is the only other film I've seen in the thriller genre and it really wasn't anything like it 🤣 wut am I saying... )
- I was worried about an F-bomb the entire movie so I plugged my ears MULTIPLE different times when I thought it was gonna happen... and then it never did; it snuck up on me in the CREDITS; that's just diabolical ( iykyk ig 🤣 )
- At first I thought it was CRAZY that the movie was only an hour and a half long but then I actually watched it... and it felt 3 💩 ( That might have had something to do with the fact that I started it, at 9:00 o'clock at night, but........................... sleep is overrated anyways )
- When the guy first lost oxygen, I thought it was a little early to start showing all these dramatic clips of his fiance as stuf; I knew it was gonna happen at some point in the film; I just thought it would have been towards the end 🤷
- No fish or any other creature for that matter was shown this movie at all; I guess that wasn't in their budget ☠🪦
- I wish we got to see more of Duncan and Chris on missions since Duncan was apparently retiring
- The ending statistics were crazy 🔥
- Towards the beginning of the movie, there was like no language at all! And... then...
- "I don't think bro forgot his pillow" - @nbrasington 🤣
*Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhh*
All this talk about a guy who went 29 minutes without oxygen in a pitch black ocean with his boat not knowing where he was, nor if he was still alive or not is making me wanna go scuba diving! Heh... heh... heh... no.
