Superman (2025) Movie Review

Alright... let me make this super clear... I am not about to become an absolute DC fanatic...

BUT...

This movie actually made me want to know more about what they're cooking over at DC rn bc this was one of the most colorful and fun films of the year so far, I'm not even joking, Marvel should be absolutely terrified right now.

We've got a lot to cover, sooooooooo... welcome to the Superman (2025) movie review. 😁

• Literally the first shot of the movie:

...and we're back to where it all first started 😉

• Did you know that the giant “S” in the middle of Superman’s suit represents the first letter of Superman’s name which is “S”??? 🤔🤨🧐😆 ( The dramatic zoom-in's throughout tho 🙏😭🤣 )
• Yo Krypto might just be the best thing that James Gunn has ever included in any of his movies... ever 🤣🤣🤣 ( The mid-credits scene ❤ )
• That opening scene was tuff I just wish I had gotten a warning before hand that I would actually have to use my brain and read words today 😆😆😆
• noooooooooo they kept the cross-eyed picture in the movieeeeee 👇🤣

• When we saw Clark enter the Daily Planet for the very first time, the Peter Parker vibes went harrrd 🤪🤪🤪
  "Hey loser"
  "Hey Steve" 🤣
• "Superman defeats thing" 🤣🤣🤣
• Y'all Metamorpho's baby absolutely needs to become the Chicken Jockey of DC 😆
  That part was weird, man... 🤣 ( Metamorpho to Superman after saving him and his child while his body is regenerating and he has nothing but his head and a few squid legs left attached to it: "You're really weird" 😆
  *Crickets Crickets*
  *Clears Throat* )
• "Oh my gosh, he's so fine..."
  Y'all...
  Y'ALL...
  There ain't no way... 😆😆😆
• What was this girl even doing just standing in the middle of the road while her entire city was being destroyed behind her frfr 👇🤣

• Was not expecting the Justice Gang to be good guys ( I know that sounds stupid but in my defence, I didn't even know a "Justice Gang" existed until they started talking about one... i-in the movie... 🤣 )
  The "Justice Gang" certainly isn't as catchy as the "Justice League" ☝🤓
  *Crickets Crickets*
  DC should really use that name... the Justice League... pretty catchy...
  
• I was confused who the Justice Gang was "sponsored by" or whatever? I couldn't catch what they were saying at that part 🤷
• Lina Leikam boutta be fired after what she did to Nathan Fillion's hair 👀🤣 ( I feel like that haircut would be getting so much more hate rn if Lois hadn't made a joke about it 😆 )
• Mr. Terrific was awesome and had a lot more screen time than previously anticipated by many; also that one scene where he puts a force field around Lois and starts killing everybody absolutely made this movie for me 🤣
• I didn't like the actor of Metamorpho; I felt like his voice didn't really fit with his character just like Jumba in the new L&S idk tho 💩
• That dang ScreenX poster spoiled the most stressful part of the movie for me 😆 ( jk it wasn't that bad lol 💩 )
• Why did I actually think that the Boravia president guy was boutta pull an M:I mask trick before going into that pocket universe 🤣 ( *Sighhhhhhh* I've seen those movies way too many times 🤣 )
• Both my Dad and I thought that Superman could have used his laser eyes so much more throughout the movie to help in other times of need ( I mean, seriously, we first saw him use them like halfway through and he still barely used them after that 💩 )
• "Where's the dog!?!"
  I was thinking the same exact thing...................................................
  WHERE'S THE DOG, JAMES GU-
• David Corenswet has for sure been mewing recently 😆😆😆
  *Crickets Crickets*
• "Gary" in the credits 🤪
  This movie's just brilliant, through and through, I can't say that enough
• The hype over Ohio just keeps getting crazier and crazier, man 🤣🤣🤣 ( iykyk )
• Why is ILM/Lucasfilm almost ALWAYS credited at the end of almost every movie ever? I'm not joking guys, what is up with this fr 💩 ( PLEASE COMMENT BELOW!!! )
• I had only a bit of hope for the ending of this movie after that whole... baby thing so when that guy took off his mask and there was another David Corenswet on screen, I gotta say, they almost lost me, they really, almost did... but then of course James Gunn pulled his act together and finished strong; that last scene was very powerful and sweet, I just wish to top it all off, David had said-

🤣🤣🤣 ( Maybe in an alternate universe 😉 )

This movie surpassed my expectations about 50x over, so, yeah... imma have be watchin' out for DC these next few months; who knows what's next! ................................................but seriously, does anyone know what's next? I got overwhelmed the second I tried looki-
