"The Unbreakable Boy" Director Jon Gunn Just Commented On My Most Recent Movie Review...
The screenwriter/director Jon Gunn, ( American Underdog, Jesus Revolution, Ordinary Angels, The Unbreakable Boy ) just privately commented on my most recent blog post: "The Unbreakable Boy Movie Review".
Even though our family's are practically related, I still can't believe this actually happened:
"Amazing. I love this so much. I give his review 5 stars. He's got a great voice. He's funny! Dig that kid."
- Jon Gunn ( Director of The Unbreakable Boy himself )
...I've hit the big time.
...but of course this wouldn't happen just... OUT OF THE BLUE, so we have to go back... WAY back... to the very beginning... ( Well, of course not ACTUALLY Genesis 1:1, that would be... crazy??? No; this is just... the beginning of my story... so... here we go )
...........................I'm not actually about to explain the entire life story of Jon Gunn... so, I'll just give you the recap.
JUST THE RECAP:
BASICALLY, high-school year old Jon Gunn's family wanted to move away. But Jon didn't just want to abandon his school, friends, and hometown. Sooooooo, my grandparents took him in and he stayed with them for a few summers. He earned a college degree in film from Ithaca College in 1995, then went onto become a screenwriter/director. Ever since then, he's worked on MANY well-known films/shows, with my mom's side of the family still very near and dear to his heart.
So, there you have it.
PRESENT DAY (2.23.24):
Now I know what you're probably wondering: "@Jehtt, how did Jon even SEE this!?" Well, a few minutes after I posted my movie review, my grandma sent it to him... and now here we are.
Truth is, I've never actually met Jon face-to-face before and yet somehow, that makes all this even cooler. 😁
This might just be the best moment of Jetplane Movies history.
Actually, scratch that. I know it is. ( Y'all know this ain't ever gonna happen again 😆 ) Thank you Mr. Gunn!!!
