What Is The Best Movie Theater?

There are some movies you just have to see on a bigger screen. Don't get me wrong, watching at home is still fun, but it's not the best experience available.

...I think you know what I'm getting at.

Movie theaters. ( Or "theatres" if you wanna sound fancy ig ) In today's blog, I will be answering the question: "What is the best movie theater?" And it all starts with...

R E G A L

I don't go to here as much anymore, but it's a very nice theater that makes film lovers feel at home. I'm guessing it's one of the most popular theaters around, but I'm not completely sure, so... don't quote me on that.

Maria Menounos is so sigma.

Another pretty hot spot for devoted cinema... er's... but I don't really go here. 💩

I saw The Unbreakable Boy ( And I think ATSV ) at this one but it's just not my theater, iykwim. Also, not to get picky or anything, but last time I went, the popcorn wasn't fresh ( Or even hot ) like you want and expect from the whole theater experience........................ but, whatever. 💩

S I L V E R S P O T

Silverspot really goes by their motto: it's a theater for the TRUE film lovers. There's really no other way to put it. They have an insanely cool and unique way of running things. ( I mean, just watching your ticket print out... come on... no one has it better 🤣 )

Another amazing thing they sometimes do is literally give you a poster of the movie you're seeing... for free. ( They also have posters advertising for upcoming films lining the walls alllllllllll the way to the back of the building... it's awesome )

I will always remember Regal as the OG, but Silverspot is just above and beyond... you can't ignore it.

Oh, and by the way, you should indulge in a glass of wine, craft beer, or one of their signature cocktails here.

P A R A G O N

This theater is another one of the greats. I saw Wicked here and my experience was INSANE. It was almost a sold out theater ( Mostly bc it was opening night ) so my mom and I just picked the best 2 seats available ( Which on the website looked PRETTY close to the screen ). Then later, we got there and saw them... it. Was. Perfect. The seats we chose weren't too close to the screen. In fact, they turned out to be probably the best seats I've ever had at the movies. Also, the green lighting around the room was super cool and it was just an overall unforgettable experience. BUT... there are some cons in coming here.

First off, I don't know WHY, but it seems like almost every time I try to come here, the tickets are already sold out weeks in advance, no matter what movie it is. Also, buying tickets on Fandango for this theater is SO. FREAKING. CONFUSING. I DON'T WANT A "lUx bOx" I WANT NORMAL, MOVIE THEATER SEATING!!! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK AT A NORMAL MOVIE THEATER?!

*Clears Throat*

But, yeah; besides that, everything here is great! 🤗

G A T E W A Y

I thought the roof was going to cave in and fall the entire time I was here. They really need to fix this place up. ( I've literally only been once and thank goodness I made it out alive... 😵‍💫 )

Anyways, something very specific they need to fix up here is they need to start showing a wider spread of films. I don't know too much about this theater but I'm pretty sure it's tough to find a movie playing for the whole family at this one so if you're a parent, you might wanna find a different place to take your kids.

I'll come back when they've thoroughly renovated the place and it doesn't look like a dump anymore.
