🤍 White 🤍 or 🖤 Black 🖤
Have you ever heard... "I lost because I had the black pieces, let's play again but I will play with white" In my competitions, it keeps happening to me again and again, and it is very frustrating, looking how some 10 year old kids say that having white pieces is an advantage.
The real thing, is that it isn't true! We play like we play and that is it! Our precision doesn't depend on the color of the pieces, depends on the head that controls them.
For example, if you are playing with white, you can do an opening, like an Italian, London System (🤮) or Indian Defence. In addition, if you are playing with black you should play a good Sicilian Defence, Budapest Gambit or a Portuguese Opening.
Doesn't matter if you play with white or black (unless you are both GM with a 2800 ELO each, which is NOT going to happen) if you play with a solid opening, find your opponent mistakes and you don't blunder any piece, everything should go fine.
So what the hell are you doing that you keep reading this blog?!? Start studying those openings, solving problems AND GO FOR THOSE WINS!!!! 💪💪💪
Here I leave you a problem, one clue: "Time to Time"
