Nimzowitsch vs Colle

Alekhine won the International tournament in Bled, 1931 by an astonishing 5.5 points ahead of Bogoljubov and Nimzowistsch.

Here is the last round game between Aaron Nimzowitsch and Edgar Colle.  Although Colle equalized without much difficulty by move 10, nine moves later, Colle let things slip and Nimzowitsch's more active pieces leave Colle few choices for a decent plan.  For this reason, Colle sacrificed the Exchange, seeking his fortune in a pair of Bishops.

At move 38, Nimzowitsch is clearly better, but a clear winning plan is not apparent. Needing only a draw to secure third place, he repeats moves.
