Chess Titans Level 10 Epic (or at least I think so) 1v1 & Some Personal History

I was taught how to play Chess at the age of around 8. Since then, I had started to play more and more. When I went to high school I immediately joined the Chess Club. At the time, it wasn't much of a club because it was just me and the teacher who ran it most of the time. There was one other person who would sometimes come but it was mostly just me. By the time I left school, it was indeed a Chess Club. There were close to about 20 members. We had 2 school-wide tournaments and we even played a match against another school where I won 3-0 on board 1 against their Chess team captain. After I left school, however, I effectively stopped playing. I don't really know why, I didn't intend to stop but it just happened on its own. It was only last month that I really got back into playing Chess again. First I mostly played on Chess.com but I wanted more. I wanted to play games that I played before, in particular, Hearts and Purble Place. One day I decided that I had to get my hands on those games. After a surprisingly short search on the internet, I got what I wanted. And more! I also got Chess Titans as part of the package. I started playing on different levels. Level 3 seemed to be particularly annoying because I blundered a bunch of games away initially hahaha. But then, I decided to see how far I could take it. Could I beat level 7 which I greatly struggled with when I was younger? Could I mount a challenge against level 8 which according to Chess Titans is the start of the "advanced" level? I didn't think I could beat level 9 and definitely not level 10 so I didn't think about those too much. All I remembered about level 10 was how menacingly long it took to think and how it was IMPOSSIBLE to beat! I remember watching and following a step-by-step tutorial on YouTube made by someone who I thought was a genius on how to beat level 10 just to see if it really was possible. It worked but that wasn't really much of a victory. After winning against level 7, I decided to try my luck against level 8. And it was very difficult but I refused to give in. I lost 6 games in a row but I could smell success close by. Game 7 ended with a draw which really motivated me to carry on, but game 8 ended with me winning. And to celebrate I did a 3 queen checkmate because I could! wink.png Pushing the boat out even further I gathered all my Chess knowledge and went onwards to level 9. To my own astonishment, I beat level 9 on my first attempt! If I had known, I would have included that game as well, but I didn't think I would win that quickly! It's very rare that I surprise myself like this in a positive way, usually, it's negative. Boosted by this success, I decided to go for the ultimate prize and this time I promised myself to write down the moves for every game, JUST IN CASE, I got a win relatively early on. And what did I get on my very first game? A beautiful attacking game with a knight sacrifice (felt like a true GM when I did it) ending with a bishop checkmate. Well, I may have rambled on somewhat, but hey, it's my blog and I'll write what I want. wink.png If you have made it this far, then thank you for reading and let me know what you think of the game, although I suspect some people will simply say what they think of the game without reading my rambling. So, Grandmaster level or Grandn00bster level?
