ENDGAMES WITH KNIGHTS PART 1

Knight endgames are tricky, you have to play perfectly so that you won't lose/so you'll win. I've done some knight endgame practice on the chess.com chess mentor/lessons and also in the endgame book from beginner to master by Jeremy Silman. So of course want to activate your king but also put your knight in the best possible square. For example, you can see in this diagram that white's knight is in a killer square, making the black pieces stay backward and white's king is helping his knight attack.

Although white is way more active than black, if both sides don't blunder, then this is a draw. If Kh6, black plays Nf5 and your knight has to retreat to e2 to protect the g3 pawn.

 Enjoy!
