Centre : What is the Centre in a chess game ?

 If you see the above image you can identify some highlighted squares. So particularly those squares in the middle are called the Centre squares or the centre. Therefore the e4,d4,e5,d5 squares in the middle are called the centre squares which are very important in a chess game. The player playing white or black who can control or dominate the centre or the centre squares have a advantage in the game. The player dominating the centre can rapidly develop his pieces to the centre and make the pieces more active. Now we will see a game which will help us to understand the importance of the centre :
