chess vs. life
The more I play chess, the more I seem to get addicted to playing whether I win or lose! However, I learn from my mistakes, and so therefore, I should be able to bounce back and exceed my previous expectations!
However, this is not always the case, since I feel there is a direct correlation between chess and life. What do I mean? Well, 1)mood affects chess and one's playing ability, 2)circumstances (i.e. distractions) and situations affect the mood, and 3) medications, illnesses, or any sickness or pain affect one's ability to play his/her best.
I love chess though, even if any of the above three come into play, because it is not a bias game! There is no prejudice between black and white, however, it appears that some players abort the game just because they have to play with black, and I do wonder what detemines whether you get white or black?
Well, stay in the game! Player!
