  • Articulation Drills – Staccato, legato, double/triple tonguing exercises.
  • Slide Accuracy – Play slow passages focusing on smooth, precise slide transitions.
  • Range Expansion – Work on extending both high and low registers with control.

Musical Repertoire (30 min)

  • Solo Pieces – Choose one challenging piece for the summer.
  • Etudes – Study lyrical and technical etudes to improve phrasing and technique.
  • Jazz/Improvisation – Experiment with jazz standards and improv exercises if you like variety.

Creative & Fun Sessions (20 min)

  • Play Along – Jam with recordings or backing tracks.
  • Composition & Arranging – Write your own melodies or rework existing tunes.
  • Sight Reading – Improve by playing fresh material daily.

End-of-Day Reflection (10 min)

  • Record a short snippet of your practice each week and listen back.
  • Note progress and adjust goals if needed.
