Dallas Presidents Day Weekend (Painful mostly). Southwest Class Championships.

This tournament was quite painful, my third game was particularly hard to swallow. I am beginning to notice a pattern in which I get exhausted and unfocused after 2 hours and I plan to find a solution to this.   I saw a lot of the players from my very first tournament in September, which was also in Dallas.  I smiled and said hello to my previous opponents.  That first tournament went much better than this one.  4.5/7 versus 3/7.  

This blog is primarily a personal diary of my games so I'll add to this posting as I get more time/energy. 

 Game 1 was a Sicilian Taimanov against a player who actually ended up outscoring me in the tournament.   

 Game 2 was against an unrated player who ended up winning 1st in our section and is now rated 1757.  I'll add the game this week.
