New and Larger Chess Club

Well this week has been a wild ride. We finished painting on our facility only to have a larger and better one offered. We will use the smaller one for meetings and such in conjunction with the VA.

But our new building is 3000 sq ft! We will hold our Sept 26th tournament there. There is some remodeling to be done. Roof patched and bathrooms finished, carpet on floors and tables purchased but WOW it will be huge.

Some of our other acquisitions are a Chess Table, maple with high back cloth chairs and a pre WWII ivory Chess set!
