My first chess memory

I don't know if y'all even care about this but I'll say it anyway For me Chess started when I was around 8 when I found a star wars Chess set in my game cabinet. I didn't know what chess was at the time. So, as any 8 year old would do, I asked my dad. He told me that was chess. I liked it because it looked cool. so I asked him how to play and he taught me. and from then I kept playing with him and learned more and more and me and my dad became the only ones in the family who knew how to play chess at the time. then I got to middle school and found out there is a chess team, so I joined. I wasn't very good but I did my best (at least I was better than my grandma( she didn't know how to play)) but I got better and I've learned new skills and developed them.
