As you all know Chess.com has many members and that's great when you're looking for advice, playing a game, or just chatting but there is also a downside. With friends comes a slight cost of time, effort, and plain friendship. I've been here for awhile and understand that there are members with 100+ friends and I always think the same thing: "Are they really a friend to that many people?"
At first you could say yes, but as you think about it... it's almost impossible. You'd have to be on every day to talk with each one or at least say hello. I feel like many on here have lost the true meaning of what it means to be a friend. I hope that you'll read this and think deeply about who you friend, who you accept, and with whom you are friends.
May you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year! -Kingdom_Hearts
