SPICE Cup Report Round 6 Preview

Hello again, I thought I would do a quick blog post before I head back over to the SPICE Cup for round 6!  The A-group has an off day today so only the B-group is playing.  Today's B-group round is very important for several reasons.  For one, Darwin Yang could score an IM norm if he wins today, or a GM norm if he gets 3 points out of the last 4 rounds.  Another reason today is important is that IM Dean Ippolito really needs to win/or draw to keep his GM norm hopes alive.  Also, after round 6 at 7:00 PM (central time) the A & B group Blitz tourney will start, which will be VERY exciting!!  Also participating in the Blitz Championship will be GM Simen Agdestein, GM Georgi Kacheishvili, and IM Istvan Sipos!!  I will post the B group pairings below.
