Happy Birthday Mikhail Tseitlin

Mikhail Semyonovich Tseitlin is one of two Grandmasters who was born "Today in Chess History." (The other is Vitaly Kiselev of Russia who was born in 1988 and became a GM in 2007). Tseitlin  was born in 1947 in Babruysk (a city in the Mogilev Region of eastern Belarus on the Berezina river.) Nowadays, however, he lives in Germany. He was awarded the International Master (IM) title in 1977 and the Grandmaster (GM) title in 1987. He has also been a chess author.,

Tseitlin was twice Moscow Champion in 1976 (jointly) and 1977. His best results in international tournaments are Pernik (1977 and 1981) - 1st place; Nałęczów (1979) - 1st; and Prague (1983 and 1985) - 1st place.
