Too Old, Too Weak, TOO SLOW

Too Old, Too Weak, TOO SLOW

Chess.com is known for many great things, but the sportsmanship of its members is not among them. I am often the recipient of derogatory comments about my age and my playing strength (or lack thereof). It is not uncommon for me to receive the message "Too old, too weak, too slow."

My opponent in this game was a perfectly good sportsman, and I am thankful for that. But I found myself wondering if this game was not an example that could have legitimately been attributed with the disparaging comment "too old, too weak, too slow."

Well it is 3 minute Blitz, after all. What can we truly expect but blunders and time losses. nevertheless, it is very frustrating indeed to have the winning move pre-moved on the board, and yet receive the message from chess.com that says, "You ran out of time before your move 94...Qg3# reached the server." Perhaps such a message is code for "too old, too weak, too slow."
