I love teaching kids how to play, love, and understand chess. As many of you know, I am a chess coach during the school year at the Marshfield Middle School Chess Club. I am also the founder of the Marshfield Area Chess Association, which meets at the local library to play chess, and share puzzles and catch up on each other’s lives. We have many members that are kids, who just like to play the game.
I've taken a special interest in trying to connect kids with chess, and today I took on another student. I have a chess coach profile here on Chess.com, and I've already gained several students through it. Today I was asked to give private lessons over the internet to a member of chess.com. A kid, who is very interested in learning chess more fully. I don't usually use chess.com for teaching chess, but I think that if I secure most of my students though the site, that it would be easier, and more fun just to play training games and send messages to one another right here on chess.com. So, that's what I've been doing.
If you’d like to get better at chess, than please visit my profile, from which you will be able to find my coach profile here on chess.com. I am happy to give free training to people that are on my friend list! :) I am willing to teach chess for free, because I am essentially learning as much as the student is!
Again, visit my profile, and contact me if you are interested in private lessons over the internet here on chess.com.
