BlitzWizard94 vs NMLightning | the duo crossover returns 🔥
the return of the duo, Snows infinity gauntlet vs wizards McDonald Magic
hello there were back at it again and i just want to recap a few things before we eventually start ooff on this new blog with @lightning today. so the first things first, things aren't getting well personally but in a healthy way i am doing a bit more positive than usual so i just have to try and stay more that way. back to the blog, snow is a guy i have known online for almost 2 years ever since 2020 and he was actually in one of my first blogs here as well. we have mentioned each other from time to time in our blogs and i often recap his arenas with a special video dedicated to our games there. he returned and streamed the arena itself which was alright from a positive viewpoint and the games themselves were quite decent as well.
GAME #1 Drawing down a piece in Rook and Bishop vs Rook Endgame
alright so that game was pretty well equal until the isolated pawn endgame came into play which put me in a heavy disadvantage with bad piece placement and timing. i did however manage to force his last few pawns down and despite being with just a piece, i managed to hold and secure the draw. as i said earlier it was mostly equal but yeah i managed to hold it despite making bad play and should probably study these weird c5 lines in the caro with black.
Game #2 against the MoonWarrior
now this game was a pretty standard caro until the game took a interesting turn with @Moonwarrior_1 going for the initiative with ideas like f4 and g4. i consolidated playing solidly and secured my ground after Qb6 feeling pretty confident that i couldn't lose this easily. i did commentate better and expressed my thoughts in the video so go ahead and check that out but the rest was just 2 free pieces and him realizing there was just no more attack happening.
AND GAME #3 the encounter with lightning...
alright so here we go and i just want to say that before this we actually did play 2 times and agreed on draws back and forth which were pretty fun doing. this one however was just super funny and not much is really needed to analyze this as its just a pretty trollish game and meant for fun as it can be seen based on dubious moves and premoving moments. here is the video of our reactions which i have posted also on my channel, it was fun with snow
after this game i pretty much played i think 2 or a bit more and went downstairs to go get McDonalds leaving the arena timer to fall which led to @Gump_forest winning. it was a fun event and even though i only showed 3 games, this blog served more as a recap of this arena since there are more interesting blogs up ahead and my goal is to finish my next 2 today. it is currently 6am and i will sleep now but before i do, make sure to support snow and cheers
