How to destroy anyone rated under 1500
Let me start off with a question, would you sacrifice a minor piece to destroy your opponents king's safety? I would, and I have.
What I'm about to teach you has won me so many games, and now I'm passing this knowledge to anyone curious enough to read this whole blog. The plan is simple Its a attack made to be against the Caro Kann opening but in truth this set of move can be played against many other openings. Okay I should stop fluffing around, and get you started on the actual thing. Its time to learn the Alien Gambit
As I said before black is playing a Caro Kann, and in this position instead of caring about your pawn's health and well being, we take a completely different approach and play the surprising Ng5 which gives away our pawn. The reason behind this is to let them get greedy and take the pawn letting us play the move we want... which is Nxf7 ?? blundering our Knight by forcing black's king to take it. This move may seem stupid because its like I've captured a pawn and they've captured my knight and a pawn, Even stockfish thinks this move is bad. But, we got what we were looking for guys, and that was to make the king move into the center, away from his protection, and unable to castle.
Now the fun begins, we start by playing d3 or f3, the idea here is to clear their pawns out of the center, this means recapture with the queen instead of with pawns. We do this so we can get our rooks and queen attacking black's king. After trading the closest pawn to your pawns, DEVELOP. I can t stress how important this is just develop so you can bring you queen and rooks out while being safe and defended. Also you want to castle early, so after you disable there castling. 1. Capture the closest pawn, 2. Develop your minor pieces (Bishop Knight), 3. Castle early. Once you've finished that, your game should be quite even or in your favor, you might still be down material, but you should have a positional advantage. But remember to Not Trade Pieces. You don't want It to go down to an endgame, so keep your pieces safe.
