US Championship Online Qualifier | Games 5-8
This is part 2 of my games in the US Championship Online Qualifier. If you didn't read part one, just click here.
When we left off, I had just lost 2 games in a row and I needed to bounce back. In the 5th round, I got a great chance to do so, as I was playing a 1600.
A pretty good game, according to the computer. Even though it was an inaccuracy, I felt 16.Nf3 was a good practical try, especially if he took the pawn, like he did in the game.
Remember game 2 from the other blog? Well I actually flagged not one, but 2 people in this tourney
.
I am not going to annotate because there were too many mistakes.
My opponent belonged in the "a" group.
My theories are:
1.Disabled premoves
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT THO?????
idk, but some people do. Like he never had a move in that game that only took .1 seconds.
2.He didn't want to take risks
That just doesn't really make sense either.
JUST MAKE SAFE PREMOVES!
On move 69 (haha) how hard would it be to premove Qxe2? It would've saved him a full second and when you have 6 seconds, a second is a lot.
Here, I want to point out his horrible techique. If you have a passed pawn, push it!
Sorry for ranting.
but dont ask me how his blitz rating is 1900
yay 98.6 accuracy. I wasn't cheating okay?
GAME 8
98 accuracy again ![]()
I actually wasnt cheating ok?
we clear?
