
GFE ft Aunt Jemima's Cornbread (E)
Ello! Today's recipe can be found on the backs of Aunt Jemima's cornmeal. It has already been simplified but I'll just redo that work. So continuing on.......
The Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup flour
1 cup of milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil (cannot use other oil....or at least not to my knowledge)
3 tablespoons of sugar
4 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 egg
The How To:
Combine it all together and mix very well. Pour into greased skillet, 9X13 or muffin pan(s). Bake at 425° for 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve with butter (and for some..honey). Enjoy!!😆
