My trip
Right now, I just came back from my trip. It was so fun!! When i first got there, we played some poker and went to sleep. The next day, I didnt sleep much, so i got up at 5 and walked Adam's dog. (Did i mention Adam? he is one of my friends from skool.) Adam's dad got his friend and her husband to let us on their boat. The boat was sooo quick! we went at 25 MPH. Thats fast for a boat. The wind blew against my fase, which felt good. After we got a good distance away from the dock, Sean, the guy who drove the boat inflated the Connelly, a small floating thing that is sort of in the shape of a couch. We took turns tubing (the term for riding the thing). Each time, we had 3-4 people ride. When you fall off or say stop, your turn ends. At one point, Adam and Stanley got so good at this game, they almost couldn't fall off. So, Sean did some very wierd stunts. Adam flew 2 feet into the air and fell into the water! The tubing was fun. Then, after a quick lunch, We rode the boat to somewhere with lots of boats. When a boat goes quickly, it makes small ripples, or waves. Every time we go over one of the waves, we will get flopped into the air. We named this "Air time". After that, we went swimming in the middle of the river. However, the current was very strong, and we quickly stopped the swimming. Then, we tried wakeboarding. The picture I put up is a Wakeboard. Did you ever try snowboarding? Wakeboarding is the same thing except your holding onto a rope that is connected to the boat and your on water. This activity is mostly for adults, so we didn't do it many times. After a bit more tubing, we went back to camp. We ate spagetti that night, and almost everyone had sunburns, which is the only bad part. After another night of sleep, i got up at 5 again to walk the dog. The breakfast was good; we had sausages, eggs, and tortillas. Then, Stanley and i biked around the dock, and went to Sean's house. They had about 50 chicken, 25 geese, 40 ducks, and a peacock. yeah they had a peacock. Sean was fixing up their house, so the inside of the house was a bit wierd. When we went in, we saw a gun. A real gun. Sean says that that gun is for shooting hawks and eagle who want to eat their animals. Outside, we practiced shooting. Beacause i shot down a coke bottle, I got to keep it as a sovenier. For lunch, we had noodles. It tasted good, even though there were mushrooms. Then, we said bye and left.
