Does Believing In Yourself Help In Chess?
Hello! Today I played a game: https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/28006188059
In many other games I lost or drawn without thinking about wins. This game was other.
After I joined a Daily Tournament, I got to Live and clicked “Play”.
At first, I decided to use my Polish Opening, because the Ware Opening did not help in my games. Everything was great, until turn 4, black a5.
I wanted to resign after that move.
From then I was thinking that in the endgame I will win with forks.
I “lost” the whole middle game materially, but I didn’t waste the endgame,
but I was losing at the beginning of it, but thanks to forks I regained material and stalemated, and got +1 rating point, and a great game to analyze.
Thank you for reading!
