This blog is Hikaru's Revenge on Magnus after he won the E-sports cup he win a tournament by beating magnus with 10/11 points (part 2) part 1 was posted yesterday I thought I'd Do it now rather than just staring at Chess.com site If you haven't read part 1 of this blog yet click to read here

after reading that shall we continue? you can watch the video in part 1 and see Opening to Middl-e game I ended it at the Middle-game So this Blog is Middle-game to Endgame

after seeing the knight on e5 controlling many squares, Magnus attacks it by moving knight that was on b6 to c4 which is a brilliant move, but this move has more than one purpose! if you would care to look, in the picture see pawn on f3 and the attackers on rook battery and a queen on h5 attacking it diagonally Hikaru also has the same number of defenders one king, queen and the attacked knight. so if Hikaru takes now the pawn on f3 will be captured with 3 attackers and with doubled-rooks and then the position will be a loss for Hikaru so instead he does rook d1 to h1 attacking the attacking queen

now if you wouldn't have known this is a blitz game so the time is now 25 secs for Magnus and 40 for Hikaru

and then Beautiful Queen SAC! Knight on c4 to d2! sacking the queen, he plays this move to play knight d5 to f4 checking the king, also forking the rook!

Hikaru plays f2 escaping the check now you see how brilliant GothamChess's mind is to understand this and Magnus to find such an astonishing sac with only 25 secs putting pressure everywhere but Hikaru is better if he plays g4 which he did, Knight on h5 to f4, But so, Hikaru Blundered by doing

yea, yea, part of the video

So Magnus does rook on f5 to g5 capturing that pawn also attacking the queen without any defender for the rook but it's actually pretty good, Hikaru can take the rook if he wants to lose without dignity so he does Qxc7 on the 7th rank Cutting to the Endgame..

You know, If you want The Full Game Just comment or Give enough views then I'll think about it I cutted a few if of the trading and positioning in the Part 1 blog

Now, It's Magnus's to get a losing position, He plays Rook f7 the reason why this is losing because check by Hikaru moving his queen to e8 then another check by Qxe6 Magnus Plays King to h8

Im surprised Levy did not Dance Wish he would though, How does this help?

after Magnus takes Qxh3 forking the king and rook then Hikaru captures You can probably see in your mind Magnus has now One Rook,Knight and 4 pawns but Hikaru has A QUEEN, Knight and 3 pawns so Hikaru Takes the Lead.
