To be fair, I beat two 1800s in the first two rounds; it was high time for something to go horribly wrong. Up until the colossal blunder, it was an interesting game with chances for both sides.
Side note: This is my first game to be annotated in ChessBase! There are still some kinks to be worked out, but the process of exporting to PGN and pasting the game into chess.com went remarkably smoothly. It was ChessBase that designated my eighth move a novelty and found the two games with similar openings. So I think my rage against chess technology is over now, although taking the day off work today certainly helped to ease accumulated frustrations.
