French Defence is one of the defences against e4 and it is also very annoying to play against.

I myself faced it so many times on the board and on online and Today I would like to show you guys the opening that can make your life much easier playing against French.

1.Typical Position

. This is going to be our Typical Position of our opening and This is the same as our attacking weapon against c6. 

. We are developing our knights first to attack black quickly and keeping the option to play d4 later.

2.Advantages and Disadvantages of our opening
Advantages - 1. We developed two knights first so that we can attack black quickly
2. There are also some traps and some attacking plans for us so in middlegame we will be okay.
3. You have an opening advantage on your opponent because they will not face our opening as much as you!
Disadvantages -  1. We are not playing d4 so we don't get centre
2. Black has the option to play c5 and attack our centre to gain space.
3. Black is not very dumb enough to fall for our traps but not our attacking plan! 
3. Variations and plans of our opening
3.1 - dxe4 variation
In this variation , Black is just helping our pieces get more active with tempo after Nxe4. 
This variation is the worst of all for black and believe it or not even 2200 players fall for the trap!!
3.2 - d4 variation
This variation is the same as our attacking opening against c6.
Even If they took on c3 , We will take back with b pawn and we are just ready to play d4 and win.
3.3 - Nf6 variation
In this variation, we take the full centre with e5 followed by d4.
This is black's best variation because he can play c5 followed by Nc6 and Qb6
However, even if he plays the best move, we just develop our f1 bishop and play easily

3.4 c5 variation

In this variation , Black plays c5 too early so we must punish him!

This is second worst variation and yet this is also common!
