President's Day Open 2024!

The Atlantic Chess Association plans to hold the President's Day Open Chess Tournament from 2/16 - 2/19, at the Dulles Marriott in Dulles, VA. The tournament format is a 7 round Swiss, time control G90+30. There will be 4 sections: Premier (min. rating 1900), U1900, U1500, and U1100. Additionally, we plan to host a President's Day Open Scholastic on Saturday 2/17 and a blitz tournament in the evening of Sunday 2/18. The Scholastic tournament will have four sections, K-12, K-8, K-5, and K-3, with trophies awarded to the top three finishers in each section. Additionally, the blitz will be a four round double Swiss, with a time control of G5+0. Here are the links for both the scholastic and blitz sections:
