Caro Kann
This is the Caro Kann. It occurs after 1.e4 c6. This move supports the move d5 without risking bringing the queen out to early as in the Scandinavian. It is a very popular opening in the higher rated players. Some advantages of this as black is that it doesn't block in the dark squared bishop like the Sicilian. the pawn structure is strong. All openings however come with their disadvantages. The b8 knight is slowed down in developing as it cant reach the controlling c6 square. also after:
black now controls only one open diagonal while white can control three. White also controls the centre and black has practically no space to manoeuvre. both black's knights cant advance to the c or f file. the king also almost definitely wont castle queenside as it is exposed which is an invitation for white to push the kingside pawns in a pawn storm. here i have included some of the lines that the computer analysis thinks are best.
