Antonín Novotný (August 22, 1827 – March 9, 1871) was a Czech study composer who first published a study with the interference theme that bears his name. Wikipedia described the theme as "A white piece is sacrificed on a square where it could be taken by two different black pieces - whichever black piece makes the capture, it interferes with the other." This is a good example by A. Troitsky from 1934. Enjoy!
