Endgame and Bobby Fischer
I read the new biography of Bobby Fischer the week it was released, and finished in two days. What an intense, well-written biography. As a retired librarian I consider myself a rather good judge of literature, and Mr. Brady's book not only succeeds his previous biography of Fischer; it also does extremely well in the genre of biography. I recommend it to everyone, chess player or not, as one of the books that should be included as part of this country's culture and to encourage more interest in chess.
