Mittens is Back!
Hey chess enthusiasts, guess who's back ! It's none other than Mittens. Little kitten with an chess Elo of 1, but don't let the low Elo fool you – Mittens plays chess like a grandmaster on a mission. She is not going to be here forever, so go and take on the challenge !
My opportunity against Mittens
Since Mittens is back for limited time, I decided to Challenge her to a chess duel. I am not a strong chess player, so I knew it would be very hard opposition. Tried to play my main openings, be tactically clever and use my best endgame knowledge, but every time She just won. Mittens always found a way to beat me. So i had to come up with another plan to outsmart the Computer. By selecting the custom challenge I knew there is a way to be cunning. I changed the time control to 1 minute. This was my only shot to win against Mittens ! Since she is one of the strongest Bots out there, my only hope was to flag her. I took a deep breath and started the game. My plan was to avoid blunders and move quicker than her. Time ran mercilessly and I had to make fast decisions. I was super focused and it seemed like the game was going on forever, but after 22 moves She had 2.3 seconds left on the clock against my 37 seconds. Since there was no time left for her, she decided to resign the game! Yess !! I finally managed to beat Mittens !

According to game review Mittens was more accurate: 96.9% against my 89.4%. I made 2 inaccurate moves, but these did not really make my position worse. By Evaluation bar I were 2.5 moves behind, but in Bullet game you have to remember that you need to control your time also. Sometimes it is better to move faster than spending too much time on finding the winning play.
Conclusion: We have hope !
Computers may dominate chess, but there is always a way to be cunning. By finding a clever strategy, you can beat top Elo bots, but do remember, they are getting better every day. We do not know how long Mittens will be here and how long this trick works, so go and try to take advantage of her also !
