Angela Eagle is a leading UK Labour Party member who was co-U18 British girls chess champion in 1976. Here's one of her games - against her twin sister Maria in 1979 - posted by John Saunders in the English Chess Forum on 1 July 2016. Eagle is an outspoken critic of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. She was a "Remain" advocate in the June 2016 UK referendum on EU membership.
