The Magnus Carlsen and Inarkiev Controversy

Back in 2017 during the World Blitz 2017 tournament.Ernesto Inarkiev and Magnus Carlsen were playing a blitz game.During the blitz game Magnus Carlsen checked Inarkiev's king but instead of Inarkiev moving the king he gave a counter check.If you don't know this is an illegal move.YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY THIS MOVE. Carlsen just ignored the fact that Inarkiev played an illegal move,Carlsen didn't tell the arbiter.Carlsen moved his king and Inarkiev stopped the clock and told the arbiter and claimed the win.But don't worry Carlsen got the win but i still think what Inarkiev did was unacceptable.What do you think about this situation let me know in the comments.
