Coming in from the cold

I used to be a member of Chess.com but cancelled my membership (for no particular reason). Maybe I had lost interest in the game or possibly the competitiveness of it all ( couldn't resist the temptation to enter tournaments etc) was starting to get me down, I don't know. I have kept playing and have decided to renew my acquaintance with this site.  The only thing different is that I have a different user name because I have absolutely no idea what my old one was. I sure as hell don't think my standard of play is any better but that is neither here nor there. I have an enthusiasm for the game again and hopefully will be reacquainted with old adversaries and friends. So here I go, once more into the fray!
