Once again

Well here I am again. Once more I have my "I want to play chess" head on. I keep returning to this site like the proverbial bad penny. Will I be any better at this ridiculously difficult game? Will I actually think a bit more before I make a move? Does it get any easier. Should I be studying text books and watching past games with really rated players? Does it really matter? I think not! I will be here while I have my chess head on and then no doubt will drift off into the wide blue yonder only to reappear when I have a hankering to humiliate myself one more time in the face of an unknown enemy who has obviously given slightly more thought to the game than me!
