Chess is all about mindset. Once you get your mindset right ✅️ everything else will follow. Meditation is the start of your mindset journey, because mediation is all about your mind and clearing negative thoughts. What Is The perfect rhythm? Well this is all about creating the perfect balance that gives you your full potential in life. With the correct balance you will be in perfect rhythm. Just like understanding your own needs. Some people are better at understanding their rhythm because simply they are more in tune with their own body and mind. For example they eat the right foods for themselves, they sleep on time, they do exercises, they live their life creating a balance. They have a balance of studying and playing chess. These people have spent alot of time understanding their own needs, and filtering out what is good for them and what is not good for them. Sometimes we can be envious of people like this. They often read the best inspiring books. People like these are spending their time on keeping positive, but they also have a balance of work and play.  If you took a few minutes out and thought about this. Would you be in tune with the rhythm of your mind and body? Well listen to the music below and take some time out and see if you know the rhythm of your mind and body. Apart from either enjoying this music or not enjoying, spending some time out thinking about yourself is very much needed. Whilst listening to this music ask yourself these questions.......

1) Am I in perfect rhythm in my life?

2) Am I tuned in with what I eat and drink?

3) Do I sleep on time?

4) How often do I meditate?

5) Do I play far too much chess without studying?

6) Do I keep repeating the same mistakes in chess?

7) Do I have a morning routine?

8) Do I meditate before going to sleep?

9) Do I know what the right things are for me, but choose not to do them?

10) Do I wish to be a better player in chess?

There are so many more questions you can ask yourself, one can always improve in life. So here we go ,listen to the music below and ask yourself these questions and think about it.

Now listen to the next piece of music selected below and see how you feel listening to this.

1) Does listening to this music make you feel more in thought?

2) Are you able to think more clearer?

3) Does your mind feel more relaxed?

4) Does this music make you appreciate life more?

5) Do you feel like you need to slow down?

6) Do you feel calmer?

7) Could you close your eyes and do some meditation.

8) Does listening to this music makes you feel in a more reflective mood.

9) Do you feel more tired?

10) Do you just want to close your eyes and take some time out?

So two different pieces of music completely can make you feel so different. What we choose to do , or eat , or read , or listen to music etc , has a profound effect on how we can feel and can completely change our mindset.  So our mindset is definitely governed by the choices one makes. If you read a positive inspiring book 📖 , your mindest will definitely be uplifted. If you constantly eat junk food then this will effect how you think. If you don't get enough sleep,  you will eventually feel sluggish and tired 😴. Our choices definitely affect our mindset.

How about the third piece of music below. Listen to this inspiring deep meaningful song, see how your mood will be uplifted listening to the words.

So mindset is everything. Simply changing your mindset from a negative outlook to a more positive outlook. The choices you make will affect your mindset. So how can we keep a positive mindset.

Knowing or Researcing

Some people have a fixed mindset, ie they  know everything, while others say to themselves I know a little but I can still improve. We should all want to be in the latter category. Always try to improve yourself and there will always be room for improvement.

Research is very important. For example try to learn something new whenever you can about improving your mindset. A classic example is,

  • Drinking enough water
  • Sleeping on time
  • Keeping a good posture
  • Meditation
  • Developing a morning routine
  • Eating good wholesome food
  • Socialising with like minded people
  • Reading positive inspiring books

Another more intricate example is and this can be done through researching,

  • Daily meditation am and pm
  • Exercises
  • Doing yoga
  • Wearing high frequency colours
  • Reading positive books
  • Listening to inspiring audios
  • Studying chess
  • Eating organic foods
  • Keeping a writing journal
  • Writing out affirmations daily
  • Playing a longer time format of chess games
  • Keeping a balance of everything you do
  • Keeping a diary
  • Rewarding yourself on achieving your goals
  • Repeating to yourself that you can achieve your goals

If you are unaware of what high frequency colours are then let me explain. Colours can fall into high frequency or low frequency. We actually see this all the time in chess but perhaps unaware of what it actually means. I played a game a while ago with someone  double my rating. I actually lost the game , but when I did my game review I was surprised to see my analysis. I was impressed by how I actually played. Below is a preview of my game. See if you can spot the high and low frequency colours.

Here in this game I was impressed to see that I had 2 brilliant moves! Now look at the high frequency colours,

Brilliant - Turquoise

Great - Blue

Best/Excellent/Good - Green

Now look at the low frequency colours,

Bookmove -  Brown

Inaccuracy - Yellow

Mistake - Orange

Miss - Red Orange

Blunder - Red

The colours lower are at the lower end of the wavelength and the colours at the top are at higher end of the visible spectrum.

So how do you feel when you see a brilliant move, and how do you feel when you see the colour turquoise?

I feel amazing when I see the brilliant moves. How do you feel? How do you feel when you see the colour turquoise?

Now how do you feel when you see that Blunder? How do you feel when you see the colour red?

I feel awful when I see how many blunders I make when I play chess. I don't like seeing the colour red in my game reviews. How about you, how do you feel?

So seeing the high frequency colours helps us to create a positive outlook for our mindset. Always stay in high frequency colours. Wear the high frequency colours next time you play chess. Keep doing all the right things to maintain a positive outlook. Keep a balance and a good rhythm for yourself. Above all keep smiling and enjoy the journey in becoming brilliant in every single way!Think POSITIVE think MINDSET!
