Where the Noise Stops: My Chessboard Escape

Some people meditate. Others run.
I play chess.

Whenever life feels too loud or my thoughts get too messy, I turn to the board. The moment I sit down and move that first pawn, everything else fades. There's no past, no future—just 64 squares and the present move.

Chess forces me to slow down. I can't rush. I have to breathe, think, and be fully here. It gives structure when things feel chaotic and teaches me to handle pressure without panic.

It’s not just a game anymore. It’s my way of resetting. Of finding focus. Of feeling calm in the middle of everything.

On the board, the world is quiet—
and every move is mine to make.
