To Super Admin - To Admin - To Member - That is the question!
How often have you asked teams to be an Admin - How many times were you asked to be an Admin of one of the teams you are a Super Admin for? Does anyone really know the difference between Super Admin VS Admin VS Member. I will aim to give some clarity on this from my perspective.
What powers do the different levels have:
According to the support topic "What are group admins able to do" it gives the following answer:
"Club admins have special privileges that regular members of the club do not have, including:
- Editing club settings and info
- Adding a theme to a club(background image and colors)
- Creating, accepting, viewing team Vote Chess and Matches
- Sending club invitations
- Managing the access levels of other club members (Super Admins only)
- Deleting forum and new comments
- Sending messages to all members of the club "
Here is my take on it from the bottom up :
Member:
- Create New Forum Topics
- Comment on Forums, News, Notes, etc
- Participate in matches, vote chess, tournaments, etc
- View stats
- Basically participate in all group activities
Admin:
- All privileges that the normal member has
- Editing club settings and info
- Adding a theme to a club(background image and colors)
- Creating, accepting, viewing team Vote Chess and Matches
- Sending club invitations
- Deleting forum and new comments
- Sending messages to all members of the club
Super Admins:
- All privileges that Admins have
- Managing the access levels of other club members
- Appointing Admins
- Disable Club
CONCLUSION:
- First see what you are able to do for the group as a normal member
- When you get stuck ask the Super Admin for Admin rights
- Now see what you can to for the group as an Admin
- When you get stuck as an Admin ask the Super Admin to appoint you as a Super Admin
