We played a friendly match against Arklow Chess Club on August 20, 2012. Arklow played in Divison 2 of the Leinster Leagues up to recently so they were expected to be tough opponents. After a long evening of tense play in the Arklow club, Gorey emerged winners with a resounding 5-3 scoreline. No doubt they’ll been keen on revenge in our next match!
