Gorey Xmas. rapid champ.

14 players partook in Gorey Chess Club Annual Christmas Blitz Tournament in the Loch gCarman Arms on Monday night 16th December.

Thanks is extended to Mel O'Cinneide for running the 5 round Tournament so efficiently.
This year Manuel Gardenes won the tournament closely followed by Mel O'Cinneide and Martin Brehov who were in joint second place. John Halpenny emerged from a group on 3/5 on tie-break to get 4th place.
