Mind Game Olympics for Kids

The Gorey Club Trainer, Manuel Gardenes, ran a novel “Mind Games Olympics” camp for children in the last week of July. A dozen youngsters took part and had a fun week learning a variety of strategy games including Chess, Go and Chinese Checkers. Not only did the kids have a fun week, they also learned how to think strategically and how to take decisions all on their own. Hopefully Manuel will run this camp again next summer.
