Checkmate with King and Queen!
Hi Everyone!
Sry if the picture is not clear, The white king is in the corner of the board, and the black queen is in front of the White King, and the black king is in the slanting square of the black queen's square. The White King is in a8, the Black Queen is in a7, the Black King is in b6.
(So I'm basically checkmating my King at 12:00am midnight)
I did say that I would post only next week but I was bored
So I decided that I would post a few regarding chess from today.
This is 'How to checkmate with just Queen and King',
This is a hard thing, because there's very less chance that you can keep your queen alive till the end of the game. But the queen I'm talking about here is the promoted queen, which is, I promoted one of my Pawns to queens. And I use it till the end of the game, if I don't fall into traps.
So the main idea of this is to have your king and queen alive(ofc), And to check-mate the king, and not only to check the king, but to also checkmate. Means it can't move and the game ends. All you have to do is when your opponent's pieces are lost, and the King's only left. You have to activate this method.
When your using your Queen to check the opponent's King, bring your King side by side towards the opponents King(as seen in the picture). This is done so that the opponents King has no direction to move to, in other words checkmated. Don't forget the queen, it has to come with the King, and the King with the Queen. This will automatically drag the opponent's King to the corner of the board, which gives your kingdom much attacking potential. And ends with checking the opponent's King.
Checking the King is a hard job with a reward which is winning the game. With 4-5 steps you can easily check the King if your half-way through the game. Good Luck on all your games! May you win!😉
