Moving to Paper...
Just signing in one last time here to note that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, it is just that a week or so ago I decided to move to pen and paper instead of the blog here on chess.com. I had a few glitches occur when trying to post a blog submission and I ended up losing my writing twice. So I decided to go old school.
I picked up a nice little log book to keep track of my training plan and find that it is dead simple to use compared to the blog here. Plus it is easy to add things throughout the day, or put in some notes or thoughts. I mean it's pen and paper, I'm free to do what I want with it. That's nice. I dig the whole public statement aspect of posting here and the motivation that that fosters but truthfully just writing it down is enough motivation and direction for me.
I do plan to keep playing here and taking some more lessons with Turzo. I haven't had one in a while since my schedule has been a little crazy and I haven't been able to play any long games but now that things are settling down I should be back in business.
I'll probably still post here occasionally if I have a wild game or something interesting happens, just not the daily post documenting where I am in my studies.
