Chess PreSeason in 241: Preparing for Success
PreSeason is an essential concept in all sports. It is the period before the start of official competitions, where athletes and teams hone their technique, improve their physical and mental state, and consolidate strategies. In the world of chess, preseason can become an ideal space to delve deeper into openings, improve calculation, and hone tactical and positional skills. It is a time of growth and preparation for our 2025 241 Season.
Chess is no stranger to major competitions. This year, events such as the FIDE World Championship 2024 (November 25 - December 13) and the Champions Chess Tour Finals 2024 set the pace for high competition. In addition, in January 2024, we look forward to more exciting chess.com activity to complement our preparation.
For this reason, we have designed an intensive and strategic training for our Chess PreSeason, dividing it into two stages.
Structure and Calendar
Stage 1 (from December 9th to 20th):
We start with an intensive program of 12 consecutive days, with Personalized Arenas dedicated to studying 33 fundamental openings and defenses. We will alternate rhythms of 5m and 10m to adapt to different modalities and improve our speed and depth of analysis.
Break: Holidays and vacations from December 21th until January 9th.
Stage 2 (from January 10th to 30th):
We will continue exploring 21 openings and defenses, with the goal of completing the 33 and consolidating the learning, they say that practice makes perfect and 21 consecutive days to create a habit.
Closing: Championship Live Matches (February 1-7):
We will finish off the pre-season with an exciting 2025 Championship Live Matches, which will test what we have learned and help us measure our progress.
