
How I Broke 1650
Today, I played a single 70 minute game at my local chess club, drawing with a 1731 and thus reaching a new peak of 1652 (+5) and also bumping my way up to the top 10% of USCF players in Missouri. It was a very fun game that lasted over two hours, and it involved some interesting positional play, nice sacrifices on both ends, and a wild end to the game.
